At its heart, Awful Witchery became a tradition for those seeking a deeper connection: education, community, and spirituality. In time, the awful witch, believed folk would come to see the true worth in the food they raised and the harvest they reaped, recognizing the magic in both the land and their own hands. Through this, their lives would be richer, spirits fuller, and connection to the world, deeper.

The practices Awful Witchery focuses on are not new, but are not common - lost to time and modernization. Our hope is to breathe life and understanding into these old practices based around birth, life, and death. Everything has purpose alive and there after.
